PROPOSED INTERVENTION THEMES THAT NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

Contribute in Social Transformation of Underprivileged Community by supporting proposed hamlet and community development activities. Proposed activities include:

I. Project based Activities:

  • To rejuvenate available but depleted water resources.

  • To install community water treatment plants.

  • To provide cost effective and appropriate technologies for ecologically safe and sustainable sanitation by providing toilets for economically weaker sections of the society.

  • To bring forward agriculture development projects.

  • To empower women entrepreneurs.

  • To make available Resource (IRC) Centre for Entrepreneurial activities.

  • To make available Resource (IRC) Centre for Competitive Exams.

II. Other Activities:

  • To make available blankets, solar lanters, domestic water purifiers, school kits, cycles, clothes, grocery and other livelihood needs to underprivileged communities.

III. Sponsor A Student & Shape Future India:

  • Sponsoring educational material, books (educational and stories), school bags, stationary

  • Education Sponsorship (Primary School) – Rs. 3000/-

  • Education Sponsorship (Secondary School) – Rs. 10000/-

  • Education Sponsorship (Higher Secondary School) – Rs. 15000/-

  • Sponsoring higher education on actual basis.

IV.Common Facility Center for Techno-preneurial Activities:

Dishantar has taken AKRUTI Tech Plus (ATP) to demonstrate, deploy and adapt BARC technologies to create sustainable and income generating activities for rural communities. This is a societal initiative of Dept. of Atomic Energy of Bhabha Atomic Research Center. Dishantar has taken ATP for following selected technologies:

  • Rapid Bio-compost – A rapid composting technology for decomposition of vegetative waste.

  • Fruit Cubes – Process for long lasting ready to eat (RTE) Intermediate Moisture Fruit Cubes

  • VTD – Vibro Thermal Disinfestor

  • SD – Solar Dryer
